The 25th anniversary edition of OFFF Barcelona has come to a close – and what a celebration it was! With a new identity designed by COLLINS, the festival brought together creatives from around the world to explore the future of creativity, art, and digital design. With over 4,000 daily attendees at Disseny Hub Barcelona and more than 6,000 participants engaging with the “OFFF a la Ciutat” program, this was OFFF’s most ambitious and impactful edition to date.

OFFF stayed true to its core, presenting inspiring talks, cutting-edge ideas, and creative sessions that brought together leading voices from across the creative industry – delivering the highest level of entertainment and post-digital culture. With 70 speakers from around the world, including Marina Willer, Sibling Rivalry, Anna Ginsburg, DixonBaxi, Ines Alpha, Marshmallow Laser Feast, and more, the program spanned design, motion graphics, AI, visual storytelling, and immersive tech.
Territory Studio created the Main Titles for OFFF’s 25th anniversary with “Echoes of Creation” – a poetic film blending AI-crafted visuals and city-recorded sound with a voiceover by Jade de Robles, honoring Barcelona’s art, history, and OFFF’s creative legacy.
In addition to being a space for inspiration and discovery, OFFF strengthened its commitment to professional development. The festival introduced the Upskilling program in collaboration with Adobe, Procreate, Houdini, and Maxon– offering hands-on activities including live demos, workshops, and AI-driven tools reshaping the creative process. Partners like Automattic, Stocksy, Monotype, LABASAD, and Fail Fast also contributed with workshops, further expanding opportunities for learning and growth.

What made 2025 especially significant was the launch of “OFFF a la Ciutat”, a new program of free activities celebrating the festival’s 25th anniversary. This included the continuation of NXT, an emerging talent showcase featuring students from 12 top Barcelona design schools, giving them the chance to present their work to an international audience. The traditional design market also moved outdoors to the lake, becoming La Plaça Design Market, with a curated selection of local and international design stores.

A standout addition was The Screen – a new projection mapping experience on the Disseny Hub façade, supported by BARCO. The nightly display featured over 150 animated works, including curated pieces from featured speakers (curated by Nathalie Van Sasse Van Ysselt) and community-submitted works via an open call in partnership with Frameboy. These screenings extended OFFF’s energy well beyond its walls, becoming a new visual landmark for the city.

With record attendance, expanded programming, and a growing presence in public space, OFFF celebrated 25 years by opening a new chapter – continuing to be the place where the world’s top talents come together to inspire, collaborate, and shape the future of the creative industry.
Thank you to our speakers, attendees, partners, and the entire OFFF community for making this anniversary unforgettable.
See you next year, April 16-18, 2026!
