On March 24, an internationally renowned designer and artist Gemma O'Brien will give an exclusive workshop on typography at OFFF
ABOUT THE WORKSHOP:
Over 2 hours, participants will look at examples of words & typography in art, get a glimpse of Gemma O'Brien's process through her visual diary, and work collaboratively on a large typographic painting. Please bring your favourite brush, markers, oil pastels or analogue tools to contribute to the piece.
ABOUT GEMMA O'BRIEN:
Gemma O’Brien is an internationally renowned designer and artist known for her bold graphics, illustrative lettering and murals. Her work has been commissioned by Apple, Nike, Google, and is held in the permanent collection of the Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian Design Museum in New York City. Outside her commercial design work, she explores language, nature and the human experience through her art practice.
