Workshop "Craft a Creative Work-Life (zine-making edition)" by Out of Office Network
About workshop:
In a culture optimized for speed, sameness, and constant productivity, our working lives often feel like we're on autopilot. We shuttle from a morning coffee to our screens, watch eight or more hours blur by, squeeze in a quick meal or workout, and then collapse into bed. This interactive workshop is for anyone who wants to step out of that rhythm, live with more curiosity, texture, and intention, and build a way of living and working that feels inspiring and creative.
Based on Alice’s learnings from investigating work/life culture across the globe, and working with some of the world’s most creative teams, we’ll explore the components that make up a creative work/life. You will craft your own Creative Living Manifesto, taking the shape of a personal zine to sustain creative energy, redefine success, and live life your own way. We’ll close the workshop with a mini-exhibition of the manifestos, and hope you'll leave feeling more inspired, connected, and grounded.
About host:
Alice is the author of "Reimagining Our Nature of Work" and founder of Out of Office Network, a platform for inspired living. She designs programs and experiences that help people imagine new ways of working and living, and collaborates with artists to share their stories and craft. Based in Barcelona – with roots in New York, Mexico, London, and across Europe – she has partnered with some of the world's most creative teams to shape creative culture. Her work is a response to a cultural flattening: as everything becomes algorithmic and increasingly the same, she helps people reconnect with texture, serendipity, and human connection.
