Saam Gabbay creates spirited, human-centric content for the world’s most beloved brands.
He believes we’re all custodians of superpowers and his storytelling focuses on revealing the sparkle and play that's inside us all.
He founded one of the first motion graphics studios in the US and his teams designed and animated spots for agencies like TBWA\Chiat\Day, BBDO, and JWT. 15 years in, Saam’s clients yanked him into directing and photography, sometimes both at the same time and often from the sky.
Saam is a champion of helping people find their own superpowers. He teaches and speaks about the process through mentorship programs at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, in Clubhouse talks, and at companies like Netflix. In 2008 he was selected to give the commencement address for UCSB’s graduating art students.
His #TouchlessBirthday, made at the start of the pandemic, has been published globally and in Esquire, LA Times, Business Insider, and Shots, winning the curators award at PX3 and becoming part of the permanent collection at the ICP.
