Brian Collins is co-founder and Chief Creative Officer of COLLINS, the independent strategy and experience design company in San Francisco and New York City. In their work, they aim to mix imagination, craft and technology to build brands that can’t be ignored. Their clients include Spotify, Target, Nike, Disney, Dropbox, Microsoft, Riot Games, Chobani, Mailchimp and The San Francisco Symphony. They have been named by Forbes as one of the companies reshaping the future of brand building.
The company's first client was Nobel Laureate and former Vice President of the United States, Al Gore, with whom they worked to launch the first national campaign on stopping climate change in 2008.
Their work has been featured in The New York Times, Businessweek, Fortune, NBC News, MSNBC, ABC News and Fast Company, which named Brian an American Master of Design. For ten years prior to the founding of COLLINS, Brian was Chief Creative Officer of the design and innovation division of Ogilvy Worldwide. COLLINS has been repeatedly featured on Working Not Working’s annual list of companies "Creative People Want to Work For Next", along with Google, Tesla, Pixar and NASA. COLLINS was the first design company to appear on the AdAge A-List and has been awarded their Design Agency of the Year three times.
Brian is a Distinguished Alumna of The Massachusetts College of Art & Design. He lives in Manhattan and in Woods Hole, Massachusetts.
